Iridium

I can't seem to find it in FTB Monster, one of my server-mates told me I have to make it.. How does one do this?

First you need to find one iridium yourself (or Your ender quarry finds them )
Then you need a mass fabricator you can give Him scrap which you get from Recycling cobblestone to lower the energy cost of that Monster. Then you need a crystal memory and a Scanner (needs energy )and then you Put the iridium in the Scanner and Put the memory in the bottom right Hand corner in the recycler and then wait and i have no time to continue so just tipe in YouTube

Do some googling for "IC2exp Mass Fabricator", there's very little documentation on it but you'll get the basics from a few vids.

You then need to find 1 piece of Iridium, either from mining or dungeon loot(Botania's Loonium can therefore create Iridium with a tiny chance), to scan so you can create more. It's a fairly complicated thing to set up and requires a LOT of power and even then it will be SLOW.

Don't attempt if creating a Tesseract is tedious for you, this is 1000x more involved.

Finding the first piece is always a trick. I believe GregTech is various versions has added iridium as a very rare ore, but in 1.7.10 packs with "just" IC2 experimental, iridium doesn't even have an ore form and is never found via mining - only in dungeon chests (The chests Thaumcraft places in the world - below infested greatwoods, on its Eldritch altars and in its barrow dens - use the dungeon loot table and are a good source for portal guns, factorization parts and iridium).

- I have occasionally found nether iridium ore when playing a pack with nether ores included.
- You can use the above method with the mass fab/replicator to make iridium (but it's energy expensive and you need to have a single unit of it to scan before you can do it).

- Or you can go into your configs for advanced solars, find the molecular transformer recipe list, you'll find one of the recipes that's commented out (in infinity at least) is Iron -> Iridium for a cost of 9 million EU.

To expand and clarify on this:

• You find a piece of Iridium from a dungeon chest somewhere(or borrow one from someone on the server).
• Build a Mass Fabricator and feed it power and Scrap(Optional, but recommended) to produce liquid UU-matter.
• Build a Scanner, Pattern Storage and Replicator. Place them next to each other in that order to make things easier for your self. Scanner and Replicator needs power.
  
• Scan the Iridium Ore in the Scanner. Save it when you are done. The Pattern will automatically be recorded in the Pattern Storage next to the Scanner.
• Supply the Replicator with the produced UU-matter and now choose the Iridium Ore pattern in its GUI. Then click "Single Run" or "Repeat Run" to start making Iridium.

You do not need the Crystal Memory. It is meant for sharing patterns with other people or copying patterns to multiple setups.

An alternate source of iridium I just Found is to trigger the Blood Magic demon invasion. The city that spawns is full of chests containing dungeon loot. It's really looking a bit OP right now. The demons in it have 200 health however and pack a punch so come prepared.
