Invalid Username with New Account

I bought my son a minecraft account on Monday (Jan. 6) but after 3 days he still can't log into FTB. It gives the error invalid username or password. The account signs into regular minecraft no problem. I have tried putting in the password many times, delete profile, then start again. If we just need to wait a few more days that's fine, but not sure what the problem is.

Have you tried using the e-mail address that you used to sign up with instead of the username? Check as well to ensure that the mojang servers are up when you attempt. If that still does not help a pastebin.com of the console log after you try to log in might help us identify the problem. Click on the 'Paste my log to pastebin.com' button. This will add a link at the bottom of the console. Post that link here so we can see it.
