Internet Disconnects When Downloading RPGImmersion

Hello, I've recently been having technical difficulties when I was downloading the the RPG pack. Problem is, the internet simply disappears. I've been poking around, trying different download servers (England 1, England 2) with no success so far. When I attempt to download it, I would download about 500 Kb before the internet cuts out. It would remain this way until I restart my computer. Strangely, only this modpack had any problems. I downloaded the Yogscraft modpack with minimal difficulty. Edit: Also, would there be any way to manually download the modpack and run it? Working around the FTB launcher might work.

Please take your FTB folder out of the location that it is in. Place it in a new (empty) folder on your desktop, with *no spaces* or *special characters* in the file path. It cannot be placed in any folders containing other files/programs or in any temporary folders, including Downloads. It needs to be placed in a folder, and cannot be placed directly on your desktop. Change the install directory (in the options tab of the launcher) to the new location.

Hey, thanks for the fast reply ^^ Anyway, by FTB folder, do you mean the ftblauncher folder that you could find in the %appdata% area? Also, do you have an idea of why my internet is shutting itself down? It'd seem like the two would be unrelated.

Edit: When I took my ftblauncher folder out and did as you said, putting it in a new, empty folder, I tried running the launcher. However, it simply opened the install prompt, should I have the install path go to the folder I made, and try deleting the old ftblauncher?

2nd Edit: I think I figured out what this is supposed to do, is it meant to be a clean reinstall? Anyway, it worked on the first attempt, I successfully downloaded the entire pack, but the internet died on the part after, stopping me from completing the download. The second and third attempts, the download simply stopped at 400-500 Kb and my internet went down (again). I deleted everything and did what you said for each new attempt.

Heya, it worked. Thanks! Anyway, what I did was delete my ftblauncher from the %appdata% area, then do as you said, new folder, new launcher, the usual. However... I had AVG, and the first link that you gave me stated that some users resorted to uninstalling their anti-virus. However, I found that AVG... has a disable function, where you can temporarily cease it's operation as long as you need it. So, I disabled it, then attempted to download again. This time? Complete success. Thanks again ^^ Now I can hop on my friend's server and start playin RPG Immersion
