Instant kills from different mobs

Hey guys
I play FTB Infinity Evolved 1.7

Sometimes i get instant killed with one strike. Last time from an Mine-Enderman and normal zombie pigman.
How is this possible, i had full charged darksteel-armor + full 15 hearts + protection 4

Have anyone noticed the same problem?
