Inoculating Bees with Skeletal Serum didn't work?

Greetings,

I tried inoculating a princess and drone with the skeletal serum and neither of their active/inactive breed changed.

I did the same for my Skeletal/Desolate & Skeletal/Desolate princess & drone but they remained hybrids.

Any idea what is up with that?

It takes more then 1 cycle to Change Genetics sometimes. And be sure your Serum is at the best Quality possible or you can lose your Bees.
 
My serums are always Excellent Quality.

The bees actually process in the Inoculator and end in the bottom slot (which you can't input into). When I try to re-inoculate them, I get the message 'Cannot inoculate bee'
 
Oh I know what happened!!! I got the 'Skeletal' EFFECT serum, not the species
