Infusion altar troubles

I have tried making the boots of the traveller, and it didn't work. I had every ingredient on the pedestals and I right clicked with my wand and nothing. I also do have enough of the required essentia.

My guess the the type of fish, since the one I used was from a different mod. I thought it would work because it cycled though a lot of kinds in the thaumonomicon

nope, best is to use the fish that's mentioned in the thaumonomicon to always be 100% sure.
also be sure that your essentia is within range of the altar, as the altar does have a range limit

I thought you would mention the range limit thing ;) My jars are in fact in range. I'll try setting up an auto fisher from growthcraft (I think) and I'll see if I get any vanilla fish.

The fisher is actually from MFR. I don't know where growthcraft came from lol
