Infinity Evolved NetworkDispatcher exception

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Title:
Infinity Evolved NetworkDispatcher exception
Launcher Version:
1.4.12
Modpack:
Infinity Evolved
Modpack Version:
2.5.0
Log Link:
Details of the issue:
I appear to be the only one on our server to have this issue. I quite randomly (during crafting, walking around, opening inventories, traveling to different dimensions) freeze and get forcefully kicked from the server.

Java version: 1.8.0_92

I previously had the same issue with java 1.8.0_91. Updated to the latest version (_92) but issue persisted.

Issue occurs with and without optifine and redownloading the pack and reinstalling the launcher does not fix it.

Thanks in advance for helping

Specific error as far as I can see (but no idea what it means):
[Netty Client IO #1/ERROR] [FML]: NetworkDispatcher exception

I'm getting the EXACT same error!!! I'm losing my mind.

I created a server for my friends and I but couldn't run the server and client smoothly on one PC, so I moved the server to my mac. then I suddenly start getting what OP posted above. never happened when I ran the server on the same PC as the client. I'm on the same network and everything. My friends are fine and they don't get kicked, only me. I even moved the server to my surface and BAM, same thing...

I'm not sure what to provide log wise so if anyone can help, just ask me for what I need to provide.
here's to hoping we find a solution quickly OP
Thanks

edit: this also happened on my custom mod pack I made but I thought that was an issue because of my poor mod pack creation skills.
I've also been able to reproduce this on another server, without anyone else on it.

What's your internet speed, both up and down? Where is the server physically located relative to you? I suspect its something firewall related.

My suggestion is to try reinstalling your instances, and try temporarily disabling your firewalls.
