Infinity and Bukkit

I currently have a Unleashed server and want to change to Infinity, but I need plugins to work to be able to prevent grief and other features. I've tried KCauldron, but it caused a lot of chunk generation lag (not 100% it was caused by KCauldron tho). What is the standard/recommended way of getting Bukkit plugins to work with Infinity?

The only way is kCauldron. You could also take a look at ForgeEssentials as it also has a world protection feature.
