In need of urgent help.

I just starting playing skyfactory 3, I have already made it pass the single block tree and have already established my base and currently working on automation. However, everytime I get i go to the menus and then reconnect to the game (same goes if I close minecraft and reconnect) it forces me to spawn on the starting tree again and it basically destroys a 5x5 block around it. I need help since it is creating a huge ass hole on my base and I cannot keep on repairing it.
