Import bus not working

So I have a couple import busses and I have made sure they have more than enough channels, but it still says "device missing channel." It worked at first but at some point broke, and I don't know why.

Can you post a screenshot or two of your system? Did you add any devices to your system, and did the import bus stop working after adding something to the system?

You have probably got two paths back to the controller. At any rate, smart cables are your friend.
