So, I'v been playing ftb sp and now there's 2 diff modpacks with better stuff then the ftb. Should I play mindcrack, DireWolf, or ftb and wait for it to update. And if I do choose to play ftb to update, should i continue playing my old map and update to the new version or will I have to start a new map because the old map will be corrupted... So tell me, I'm confused as fudge :/

Look at what mods are in the packs, from there you can make your choice. I for one tried both and have to say I like the mindcrack pack the best so far.

I just wish we knew what the Ultimate pack is gonna have in it before we go to far in the game. Also with this great team, they have made adding mods to a pack as simple as clicking the add button. We added mystcraft to the mindcrack mod and it works great.

So Ultimate pack is ftb updated modpack or is it a diff modpack, and will ftb add the mods that the other modpacks have into the ftb modpack?

If I heard Slowpoke right, the ultimate pack will be out after Xmas.

As for the packs you have a magic pack a tech pack a few custom made packs for guys like the Mindcrack team and Direwolf. I think the ultimate pack is gonna combine all the packs together into one giving you a massive amount of mods to play with.

Okay good... I like that idea :3 I quite playing SMP because of hackers greifers, and stealers :/... I wish I had a server to play on like mindcrack
