I'm having issues with launch [OSX 10.6.8] [java 1.6.0_65]​

Details of the issue:

when i go to launch the dire pack it seems to crash. ive checked to make sure its downloading from the curse client (i had heard there were issues with that) and verified the download location is correct. im really not sure how to proceed from here. Thank you in advance for your help!

Make sure you download the correct java. Your system is a 32bit system, so you will need the 32bit version of java. Also, make sure you remove the old java when you install the new!

1gb worth of memory on a modpack won't get you extremely far. Your system is showing 4gb installed, so have at it and increase the max memory to 2gb!

if he has a 32 bit OS then he is not going to get far anytime soon.
