Problem IC2 Plates Not Ore Dictionaried

Started mass creating plates ( iron and tin so far ) to create some solars for IC2 and the plates that come out of the block cutting machine are IC2 plates ( as opposed to the ones that come out of the metal former or the ones made with the hammer which are Thermal plates ), and not able to be used in any recipes. Can't craft Machine frames out of the iron plates and can't hammer tin plates down to casings for the re batteries.
