Ic2 MFE /Energy help

Hi
Not sure if this is the correct place to post it but oh well :p

Basically I am powering geothermal generators in the nether to an mfe then putting in energy crystals to be transposed to an ender chest. But in the real world I want to use the ender chest to put the crystals in the bottom of a mfe, this is all fine. My Problem is that i cant get the crystals out of the bottom slot, because the bottom side of the mfe is being used already, is there a way in the config to get things out of the bottom slot without using the bottom side? Or a filter from rp2 or anythign in BC I really want to make it automated.

The method we use on our (Tekkit) server is one Mk 3 Charging Bench with a Filter next to it to pull empty crystals out. That's next to an Ender Chest+Filter to remove charged crystal and pipe to the bench. Redstone applied to charging bench to make it discharge and a timer to pulse Filters every few secs. Bench is wired to MFE or MFSU and that's it. Reverse setup on charging end.
