I can't launch any of the modpacks

If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Title I can't launch any of the modpacks

Details of the issue When I try to launch any of the modpacks, I get the message "The version you are trying to play inherits properties from an unknown version." There is no crash log, because it never even starts up. I have tried it on SevTech Ages, Forever Stranded, FTB Beyond, Project Ozone 2, FTB Pyramid Reborn, Farming Valley, and Forever Stranded 2. I'm guessing from that, that it's all the other packs as well. This has been going on ever since the Mincraft 1.12 update I think, at least 3 weeks. I would appreciate any ideas. Thanks

Make sure you have java installed (latest version 8 64-bit), then switch to jar launcher, instructions:

First time you launch a pack after the switch the pack might start without mods, this is normal - just restart the pack.
