I can't get powercraft to work with FTB?

I've tried just about everything I can think of and tried it on different computers, but every time I try to add it to e.g. Ultimate pack, it'll be under the Forge Mods list in minecraft, but when I search for it on NEI nothing powercraft appears nor can I make any of the items... from what i've read there's supposed to be config files generated that are PC_*filename* in the config folders, but none of those are made (and those hold most of the ID's from what I understand)... anybody else experience this problem?

I've seen a few people try to add powercraft, while I haven't seen anybody else experience a problem where FML ignores the mod, I have seen that, with PC being in early alpha, Power Crystals, which are required for most of the machines, do not spawn. Meaning it's only purpose would be things like the stairs and platforms.
