I can't connect to my friend's multiplayer world.

If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Every time i have tried to load into my friend's world I'm prompted with "Failed to connect to Server" "Failed to log in: The authentication servers are currently down for maintance"
I know it sounds like I'm stupid and that the servers are down but my friends have closed their world and loaded back in and have the ability for others to join with little effort. So I'm just wondering if there is any known fix for this problem.
If anyone has experienced this please let me know. :)
