Hey guys, Im having huge difficulties with chunkloading, didnt realize until recently, as I've always had these problems playing FTB Minecraft with my current hardware setup. You can see how poorly chunks load in this video, Im also using OptiFine_1.5.2_HD_U_D5

Intel Core i5 (4 cores) 2,8ghz
16gb DDR3
AMD HD 6950 2GB GDDR5
Running minecraft off my OS HDD, an Corsair 250 GB SSD
Windows 7 64-bit, java 64-bit (updated) , AMD Graphics drivers (updated)

My only ideas as to what causes these problems is this:
Running multiple monitors (3), 1 of them running of my integrated GPU. Ive tried disabling this integrated GPU to see if it helps , but nothing.

Also heard that AMD has more problems with FTB Minecraft than Nvidia has, but I dunno

I recommend you take a look at Java Arguments page. But seriously, my specs are not half of yours, I don't have an SSD, yet I get a MUCH better FPS. Make sure you have vsync + triple buffering on ( I am not sure how that it's called for AMD ). Also try to remove the other monitors. Another problem could be Feed the Beast using the integrated GPU rather than your dedicated one.

I would run through the troubleshooting steps here to make sure everything is setup correctly.

If you still have problems then go here for help with obtaining and posting logs.

I have a Radeon 6850 card myself and have no issues with FTB. As Guildmaster said look at the arguments page because they do help with running a heavily modded minecraft. I would also suggest removing optifine because it does not play well with forge mods.
