How well will my computer run FTB? Which pack?

I have been playing ftb for awhile, however I have always had some problems with lag, especially on Monster. With Monster, I can't have anything else open on my computer without some lag. However, on Ultimate and Unleashed, I experience no lag. I really want to play monster, so does anyone have suggestions for what I should do to decrease lag? I've allocated 2.5 gb of ram to ftb.

Ram: 4 gb
Processor: AMD A4-3300M APU with Radeon HD Graphics 1.90 GHz
System Type: 64-bit.

I'm sorry if I am missing information or if there is an obvious answer to this.

Ok, Then all you should need is a better CPU. Something like 3.2 GHz

Seems like you're running on a low-end laptop, so upgrading the CPU or GPU is out of the question. Your CPU is the main issue here, as it's really weak. I would highly recommend upgrading to a new system, if possible. Otherwise, you should consider removing the mods you don't use and using java arguments. Optifine can also be helpful to some.
