Yea I made an automatic e furnace and no clue how to use it. I tried messing with RP2 and it would just pull out sand or not do any thing if I config it to pull out glass. Can someone please tell us how to use these properly?

Tried it a bit in creative, putting a chest next to each side found out it automatically puts the ouput items in one side every 20 seconds(ish).

Couldn't get it to output into pipes or tubes however :/

alright pretty useless then as it'll fill in half the time and faster for the e furnace. It's should output in at least half the time and faster for the e furnace so it's doesn't jam production.

it's actually once per min until it's jammed itself then once per second so it's a weird cycle but probably more server friendly to have a bunch of those as to one or two blazing fast furnaces.

Just the fact that you can configure which side you can pull stuff out of with pipes/filters/translocators makes for much more compact setups. I personally dislike the 1/minute rate, but if you're feeding something with a slow cycle time (grinder, electrolyzer) or if you can afford having a decent buffer, it shouldn't be an issue. But for general on-demand use, the standard machines are still better. This is good, as there are options, not a single "best" way.
