Problem How to set server to public?

Usually you just change the whitelist setting in the server.properties file. That way a whitelist isn't required and allows anyone on the internet to join the server provided they have a valid minecraft account.
This question came up on the Discord server as well.

Without knowing what pack @Domso is refering to - i'm guessing it's the Direwolf20 1.12 version 1.3.0.
The mod from Creeperhost is adding a feature with server listing.
If that's the question is about, more information can be found here:

(worth mentioning - version 1.3.0 of Direwolf20 is in beta - so this feature could be disabled in the release version of the pack, or in later versions)
