I don't think you can... maybe you could try deleting a config file of the mod to reset the keybinding, but I don't know if that'll work

Just delete the options file in the minecraft folder under the DW20 pack.

That would result in his IDs changing and possibly breaking his world, no?

Most mod keybinds are still in the default file.

yup, but if only loads up minecraft, a new configuration file should generate which might tell you on which keybinds the mod had before.
if you do not log onto your world before putting back the old configuration file there shouldn't be a problem
