A friend of mine lives in an area where the internet is really slow. Her attempts to install FTB Ultimate without the launcher haven't gone well: the huge list of modpacks and maps and texture packs FTB downloads every single startup hangs and does nothing, because as said above her internet is slow.
Taking note that she has a legitimate premium account for Minecraft, is there a way to launch FTB without going through the slow, heavy launcher? Say, a .bat file that'll do what FTB does, without the downloading-list-of-mods business the launcher does? That way, I could send her the Ultimate pack files another way and simply tell her to run the .bat file for quick MInecraft goodness.
