how to keep drawbridge open

I know a single redstone torch will keep em open but what i want to do is similar to what i seen on twitch. where you use an ender overseer which sends a redstone signal when you look at it and it will open the doors, and when you walk in the doors close that is the issue i'm having unless it's not a drawbridge i use to make that happen. so to recap i need the drawbridge to stay active and act as a door and when looking at ender overseer the drawbridge retracts to let me in.

Try a latch switch. I don't know if Project Red is installed or not, but you can still make a vanilla one with normal pistons and exploit redstone behaviors with corners.

direwolf20 built one of those on camera in his s7 singleplayer, here:
Building the door starts at 27 minutes or so

He used a not gate and a state cell set to 4 seconds
