Problem How To Get Rid of Items and Mods

Hey guys.
I am quite new to FTB but I'm used to buying and running servers, I've set up most of the server, I just want to know how to get rid of Mystcraft or any other mods and items. I only need Mystcraft banned, and maybe chunk loaders, since I'm only running it off of 1GB of RAM. I tried deleting the Mystcraft.zip in the 'mods' folder and reloaded the server, not sure if that did it, don't think it did. I tried searching on the internet and all it came up with was people requesting to ban Mystcraft, people banning other items, and people playing FTB with the Mystcraft Mod.

If you have no use for it to be on the server, just remove the mod itself, but if you want to use it for like mining ages, and stuff like that, disable the crafting in the config of mystcraft. If you want to ban an item, use a recipe remover, forge essentials, or if your using bukkit plugins, use tekkit customizer. You have to restart the server though when adding and or removing mods.

I'll give it a go, I just want the whole mod removed all together, I deleted Mystcraft.zip in the 'mods' folder and I'm not sure if it did anything, I've got BukkitForge though and a few plugins aso I can give TekkitCustomizer a go. I really would like a plugin like MutliVerse, since it's outdated. I have seen a few servers with multiple worlds, I think I just make it so you only spawn in there when you join for the first time and cover it in bedrock, so it can't get greifed when people die or fly back to spawn.

I'm going to give you the most important advice that you do not want to hear.

Don't run the server. That's not even enough to play ALONE with ultimate.

The very fact that you think that "chunk loaders" is the problem, or are ready to blame mystcraft instead of regulating it shows that you are not ready.

If you want to play with friends, all of you, just find a good server (we've got a forum full of them) all together.

If you just want the power, then you are a bad person.

I have played on a few servers for at least 10 hours each. What ends up happening, is I'll end up getting raided because gravity guns and wands of excavation are still allowed in claimed faction areas. I did find one server though, really enjoyed playing on it. The only bad thing, is that Mystcraft would crash it all the time, because of this, people started to leave, and that went on to the server closing due to the lack of donators. I haven't bothered looking for other servers, I just bought my own, I get no tp lag which is why I left most servers. Like, I'll get killed by an Angry Zombie, I'll type ./back and it would take atleast 4 seconds before I would see 'Teleporting' in chat, I would then TP and everything would be frozen, I wouldn't run away because I would try to pick up my items, by the time some of it did come into my inventory, I would of already been killed again. I also don't want the server for power, I've been doing stuff with other players, like killing bosses in the twilight forest, I still haven't finished spawn yet.
