Request How to fix "A mod sorting cycle was detected and loading cannot continue"

I have this problem sometimes too! With exactly the same configuration, sometimes it works, and other times it doesn't. The info I've found via googling suggest the source of the problem is the CoFH mods, and my error message also mentions Buildcraft.
 
Weird, updating EnderTech seems to have fixed it. ...This time. Since that's a addon to Thermal Expansion I guess it makes sense?
