How to disable NEI block highlight tooltips?

No guide to disabling this that I have seen ever seems to work. Disabling it in the options only makes the tooltip graphics glitch out, and deleting the NEI data for the specific save does nothing.

Does anyone know a way of getting rid of it for Tech World 2? It may be helpful at first for new blocks that mods add, but after a while I can see it getting annoying.

I think what you want to disable isn't NEI but Waila by ProfMobius, if the keys are the same for all FTB packs, press number 1 on your numpad (make sure the numlock is on first)

Make sure you turn it off in both NEI *and* WAILA (default key for config should be "0" on the numpad IIRC).
