How do you power an automatic treetap

I used to power it with a redstone engine but now the engine wont even move up and down.

Needs at least a Peat-Fired Engine, although a hobbyist's Steam Engine would be better. I believe it requires 2 MJ to function optimally, but it might be 1 like the other Forestry machines.
