before you say anything, yes, I know about the "re-create" world button. But it doesn't work in this case.
I have a 1.45 world that is awesome. However, creating a 1.46 world putting the same "seed" in, is not working. I guess it's always been like this (seeds are different between MC versions)
However, I know I can copy/paste my 1.45 world folder/files into my minecraft directory, and play just fine. However, I would like it to repopulate, if possible.
I remember some manual way to force a world to regenerate with the same seed, by deleting certain files from the world's data folder. Does anyone remember how to do that?
Edit* I should mention I'm using Extra Biomes XL. Would that mod re-create the same terrain and biomes layout if you provide the same seed?
