I'm loving all of the variety of item movement provided to us with mods, especially things like EnderIO, RefinedStorage, and Storage Drawers, but I'm fairly worried about the overhead these will incur on massive systems, especially with Enderio, since they use such complicated models compared to systems which simply use a full block (like AA's ESD), I know EnderIO teleports items to their destination, so I feel like it should be easier on systems, but there's no way for me to check unless I try to make a massive system and see how badly it performs.
My question is, how do I do this? Does anyone know any good tests I can run these transfer mods through to see how they perform and the performance vs cost vs effectiveness ratio of each? I think it would be a very good thing for the community to have this kind of in-depth testing for mods to make sure people know what they're investing in if they want to make a large system, and what kind of performance cost they can expect, and whether they should use a different system if they're going to have problems
