How do i install equivalent exchange?

How can i install equivalent exchange to feed the beast? or is it posible? i tried adding it but it dosnt work :(
 
Is EE3 1.4.2, or 1.4.5, the one your installing. Because I did it, and all I did was put the jar in the mod folder.
 
If it's EE3 (the new one with like eight items because programming languages are funny that way), then you just drop the .jar into the mods folder for whichever modpack you're using.

If it's EE2 (the old one with like eight items because free item generation is funny that way), then don't even try because it's two whole vanilla Minecraft versions out-of-date.
