How did he do it?

So I was playing in a monster server earlier and at one point someone killed me. This wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't for the fact that after I respawned he somehow teleported to my base and destroyed my bed. So my question is, how did he do it?
 
If your modpack has "Random Things" there is some kind of magnet that lets you warp to any player on the server.
