So I have a husher in my Horizons world and it works great. I even have it rigged to reuse slickwater from the last mine using the rotarycraft pump and a dynamic tank rig. But I do have one problem: overflow. The husher outputs via a machine output into a chest. When the chest is full it just spews stuff out into the world. If I had builcraft, I would just use a gate to detect the full chest and shut off the pump or mixer, but Horizons doesn't have buildcraft, so I am looking for a way to do this.
The best I have come up with so far, and I haven't "put it in production" so to speak, just played around in creative, is to put another chest nearby with a RandomThings item collector on it to catch the overflow. That chest has a vanilla comparator hooked up to some redstone circuitry such that when the overflow chest has items in it, a signal turns off the pump or mixer.
Anyone have a better/different way?
There is something in ProjectRed: Transportation that is some kind of overflow detector chip thinger, but I cannot find ANYTHING about it.....
