So im looking at hosting a server myself instead of paying for one, i have a Thin Client machine which has an AMD T56N duel core cpu (1.65Ghz), 16gb M2 SSD, 500gb Sata HDD and 8gb ddr3 ram, would this host FTB for 2 people or is the CPU not powerful enough?

I plan on trying it when i get home just to see if it will or not but just wondered what everyone's opinion on it is.

Thanks

I'm not savvy enough to know if it will or won't. My instincts are telling me it's a bit on the slow side, but it'd work well enough for 2 people. My guess is at worse, your chunks will load a bit slow.

But, I'm curious how your test run works out!

ill post on here later on, maybe tomorrow and let you know how it goes, if it does work then great, nice cheap solution and the thin client only uses 35w power to run, and is silent, will just have to see, currently running on a dedicated server from g-portal, theyre not bad, cheap enough, easy to upgrade ram and was easy to set up, but if i can save some more money then i will :)
