Hey there, I'm planning on getting a server to host a FTB DW20 for me and around 3 or 4 more guys, max guys online will be ~3, so I wonder if 1.5GB RAM, 3.1GHZ Processor and 1500 GB Bandwith will be enough to have the least amount of lag possible.
Those statistics will probably be fine. They're quite low though. They would be fine for a vanilla server, but FTB? Maybe, maybe not.
Also, if you only have 1.5 GB of RAM total, don't give all of it to the server, give a max of 1 GB. Other programs and the OS will need it to run as well. You'll crash your computer if you give all your RAM to the server.
The bandwidth will be fine, but what you should be worried about is the speed of your internet connection. Go to www.speedtest.net, test your speed and post the results here.
I wouldn't trust them. If there's a way you can get onto the website, do so.
Although, since it is a VPS, it's probably fine.
Be aware that you won't be able to host a public server with those specs, and you may even run into problems with chunk loaders if you overuse them too much. If you're smart about it though, you shouldn't have a problem.
