Help with Forge Essentials

Please bear with me.

I have looked at the wiki, but im a visual learner. Could someone do an example Owner setup, Admin Setup, Members, and New Users groups and permissions.

Ive tried downloading the sql database and open it with sql workbench but the permissions arent listed the way they are in the video.

So the ingame command look like the way to go, but I need to see examples of each group and their permissions.

I would be extremely grateful for any help. Please dont rip into me because Im asking a noob question.

I am trying to learn this too, it was so much easier when you could just edit the .cfg file but everything i find seems to suggest in game commands to get this working :O

yeah ive seen them "in-game" commands, what i would like is to be able to access the config file and set it up outside of game, cos it wont let me do anything to a player that isnt online and i dont sit online 24/7 waiting for them to log in

If you do "/p user _Default_Player_ group set Members" then all new people to the server will have the rank of member.

Would you mind showing me what the Admin group would look like please?

Depends on the version you are using, I forgot when they added it since im on the beta versions. But try this. do a /p export and then it will dump your permissions into a export folder in the permissions folder. Make your changes. Make an import folder and copy the configs there. Then go to the config in the permissions folder and set import to true. If you cant do any of that, then get a beta version. Or edit them all ingame.

All of the commands don't work.
when I do /p group create Members it says: Group create does not exist

Because it's supposed to be /p group Members create, Dingham got it backwards.
