Help! cannot press "launch"

i tried to open this therad in tech support but i cannot.
anyway, when i open the launcher it's write "please wait while mods ar being loaded". but nothing happening.

Seems to rely on your windows username ( if containing special character ). FTB may not be able to work in appdata if special character are present in username

I got the same problem, and had to do another session without special character, and it works.

I don't think so, i cannot press "launch". in the video he fixs the problem when you press "launch" there are no mods installed.

I do think that because you've got : "Exception reading modpackfilejava.net.MalformedURLException: unknown protocol: c" wich is the same than the other thread.

I don't think you understand me. The mods are installed. The problem was start in the update to 1.0.9 but before the update everything was ok.

We're talking about the same thing. Same problem as in 1.0.9. The error sentence has changed a bit, but it's the same problem ... it can't locate appadata folder due to special character of your windows username ( am I wrong ? don't you have special character may be ?)

i did it, it still not working. write the same thing in the console.
