Summary of the problem Hatchery Nesting Pen Breeding

What is the bug? I want to breed a glass chicken by getting the egg drop with a nether quartz chicken and a redstone chicken next to each other in nesting pens. I have had them sat in there for quite a while and I still have not gotten a glass chicken egg drop. Could it be related to the fact that I'm trying to pipe out all drops with Ender IO item ducts? All the other eggs work.
