Harvester with Copper Cable???

Hey I tried to build an auto tree farm, so I crafted a harvester and a planter. Unfortunately I'm not able to connect these two with copper cables. On the ftb wiki, there are videos where he connected the harvester with an glass fibre cable. Is that video just outdated?
 
MFR machines used to be able to accept IC2 EU and MJ back in the days. If you cannot get it to work it is my best guess(I have not tested it myself recently) that the EU compatibility was lost in the "RF streamlining". Try powering it with a source of RF instead.
 
MFR has cables that will convert EU to RF. Connect those to your EU power grid and it should get power to your machines.
 
You can also use Immersive Engineering cables to convert EU -> RF and RF -> EU.
