Just wandering back over to wish everyone a happy holidays now that the holiday season is starting to get into full swing.
In a piece of extreme irony, OBS now is working with my twitch.tv channel, but I have nothing to stream. Anyone have any suggestions?
I thought about Kerbal Space Program, but that is 99% boring and 1% terror, so it probably would make for a poor choice to stream.
There's not much point in doing Mod Spotlights since DW20 pretty much has that niche covered. Besides, I mostly wrote guides so you DON'T have to sit through a half hour video to get the information you are wanting. Kinda defeats the purpose.
I run Linux, so the built-in streaming capture for Minecraft doesn't work. However, OBS does work quite handily, so I could stream Minecraft, if people really want me to. But I figure that's an over-saturated market already, and I'm kind of already moving away from a Minecraft focus. I've already terminated my participation in RR, terminated work on my mod pack on the ATLauncher, and basically put a full stop on putting anything out for Minecraft. But, if people really want to, I suppose I can stream some gameplay. At least it isn't something Microsoft can't steal. If I do stream Minecraft, it will be my own personal 1.7.10 pack, it won't be the DW20 pack or any other publicly released pack. Nor will it be publicly released, although I can provide a mod list if you want to do it yourself with MultiMC.
I do have Steam, but I don't really have a lot of ready funds to purchase a bunch of games. So any game suggestions for the Linux platform on Steam that I don't already have will be less likely to be taken due to funding issues. I did notice X-Com is now released for Linux, that may be a thing eventually.
So yea, I haven't forgotten everyone here, I just haven't had anything relevant to say on the Minecraft front, and been particularly busy at work lately.
