a few days ago I posted a bug (unfortunately in the wrong subforum) where an interrupted download corrupts the modpack and requires a force update because the version file is added before the pack is fully downloaded

I suggest that it should be possible to start a background download of a modpack

and if the file server supports it, to be able to resume a interrupted download without corrupting it
