Well, I miss having it from FTB Unleashed...and I was just wondering whether or not there were specific reasons as to why Gregtech was not included in FTB Unleashed, and whether or not I would have problems if I were to manually add Gregtech onto my FTB Unleashed pack for my playthrough. Don't want to mess up the game, so I figure it'd be best to ask before I try it, as there are already a bunch of mods in Unleashed.

I tried adding it to the newly released Unleashed pack and got some errors. I joined just to say that I feel the same about wanting to play Unleashed with it.

Ah, well, thanks anyway. I guess unless they change it in the future, I have to choose between Unhinged/Unleashed if I want Gregtech that badly or not.

or learn to take care of the configuration errors that appears when adding GT to unleashed since you people are newly registered you might not why the packs came about but im sure that you can search the forums and find out quite easily :D

Basically a modder disagreement occurred. The FTB team has stated that tinkerers construct and gregtech will no longer be in the same modpacks together.

Ah, I see. Well, thanks, I guess I'll see if I can mess around with GT a bit and see if I can get it to work.

If you run into errors installing it post them here and we can try to help as best we can.

Yeah I'm trying to install GT and am having some issues with it. It doesn't seem to be an ID conflict, I know how to solve those but that's about as much as I know.

Seems like a forge/GT mismatch but it is curious that it crashes right after those two load.

Well, I tested installing the latest recommended 152 forge (don't know what version comes with Unleashed), v7.8.1.737 to be exact. That didn't help :/

Okay did a completely clean install of unleashed, removing the whole folder first. Started it once for download etc, quitted, added gregtech (recommended version downloaded today). Still won't start, but the error log is different:

Any ideas anyone? :(

What other mods do you have installed? Also putting your console into debug mode would make it easier to read.

It was a clean unleashed install, so just the standard unleashed mods, nothing else activated, not even BoP.

I didn't know about the debug mode even existing. Well, here's a new pastebin after setting it to debug:

This looks to be some failed coding on Greg's end. Take it over to the IC2 forums and see if he can find a solution.
