Gregtech blast furnace problem

I dont have railcraft installed, so theres only one way to get steel for me, and according to NEI, that is through a blast furnace. NEI says iron dust in the top slot, and two coal dust in the bottom slot. http://imgur.com/2MgE9v3 Its not working for me. Also, its properly powered by a full mfe. Any help would be awesome :)
 
Huh. That's weird. I was about to say "put up machine casings," but you did that already.

EDIT: According to my NEI, you're supposed to put Refined Iron in the top, not Iron Dust.
 
i tried that too. it didnt work. i was able to get it work though by using a different coal dust. there are two coal dusts (with different ids). one of em worked, one of em didnt. this is resolved now moderators
