Good FPS slow game update

I'm playing on a single player world and i have decent frame rate (30-40) but the game takes forever to update things i do. If open an inventory like a chest it will not open fora good 3 minutes, but in the meanwhile i can move freely and look around but not much else. i am running with a Nvidia GeForce 750M graphics and here are my other computer specs:
CPU/Processor- Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.40GHz
Windows 7 professional 64-bit
8gb of ram

curiosity... Is this happening after you wake your computer up from sleep mode? I have the same issue frequently

Well, it really has never stopped, it has always been like this i have tried restarting my computer and loading up the game, but all it does is increase my frame rate.

Set your frame rate 30 or 60.In nvdia settings.
