For some reason Divine RPG doesn't want to work on my FTB Ultimate, I'm not quite sure why could anyone provide some insight as to what may be causing it not to work? (I also have Biosphere modpack in the in case that makes a difference but it works as soon as I take the DivineRPG.jar file out)

I might have the solution you're looking for, as I implemented DivineRPG support in my config pack recently.

Velotican, I'm somewhat new to this type of modding (I used to do bukkit but never anything else really related to minecraft) how does the config pack work?

You copy it into your Minecraft folder and you're done. :)

The configs generally contain block and item ID customisation options and other useful tweaks. To register something in the game for it to use, it has to have a unique ID, whether that's for entities, biomes, blocks or items, etc. The configs in my pack and that come with FTB are already adjusted to avoid these clashes. DivineRPG is a particularly huge nuisance as it has roughly 1000 unique IDs to configure!

For your specific case, install the default config set, then install the DivineRPG patch on top of it and you should be done.

How would I install DivineRPG? I hear a lot of talk of installing the different mod packs but I thought it was just a "Drag and Drop" type of thing.

As I said, D-RPG is fiddly. I would remove your Biosphere pack before adding it as I doubt it's compatible. Getting it to work with FTB required a lot of tedious find/replacing.

D-RPG just goes in the mods folder of your FTB pack of choice. :)

Check the readmes in the config pack for more info if you're still unsure.

Do you have skype by any chance? I could go on screen share and you could quickly show me what you're talking about? (With the ID setting for the items and where in the minecraft folder to put the config pack)

It should be nothing complicated enough to require instructions that detailed, dude.

1) Open your Minecraft folder
2) Open the config pack's MAIN folder in another window
3) Copy the contents of the MAIN folder to the Minecraft folder, select Yes to All when overwriting
4) Open the config pack's D-RPG support folder
5) Copy those contents to your Minecraft folder, again selecting Yes to All when overwriting

Done.

If that's still too difficult to follow, I recommend against performing manual changes to your FTB installation. :)

The D-RPG config pack is included as an extra in my Universal Config Pack which you can find in my sig. It's included as an optional feature so is kept in a seperate folder to the rest of the configs but they're all in the same ZIP file.

Has this issue been resolved within the installation at this time or do you still need to modify id's?
