Getting Aluminu

Just a heads up, I'm fairly new to this modded Minecraft deal. I mostly play Vanilla and the mods I've used is nothing close to what we have in the pack in terms of adding new aspect and items in the game. So it's a bit overwhelming being presented with all the stuff I could create and play with. But so far, I'm enjoying it!

Now to the meat of the matter..
I'm trying to make Lithium Batteries and I need Aluminum ingots. First, the NEI recipe doesn't tell you how to get them. I've searched a bit and stumbled upon this

It talks about how to get Aluminum by macerating Bauxite ores to get the dust and then putting it in the Centrifuge for a long time. My question is.. which centrifuge? There's three. But I'm guessing it's either the Centrifuge Extractor or the Industrial Extractor. Also, how to use it?

You could get Aluminium (it's not Aluminum, thats from XyCraft :P) from materials as simple as Clay.

But you need some machines first. You need a Macerator and an Industrial Centrifuge. You could search for both via NEI.

If you have the Macerator either macerate Bauxit-Ore (it isn't rare but it only generates in Forests and Plains) or a Clay-Block (put 4 Clay together). You get Bauxit-Dust or Claydust. If you put it into the Industrial-Centrifuge (lots of it, 24 for Bauxit-Dust) you get some new Dusts. One of it should be the Aluminium-Dust, which can be smelted inside a Furnace into Aluminium-Ingots.

Note that NEI has different options. If you press R (it's the default) while hovering with the mouse other a certain Item you get the information how to produce that item. So if you go to the Aluminium-Ingot you get all means of creating Aluminium-Ingots. One of the shown recipies (you should have small arrows on top to toggle different production-types like Crafting, Smelting and many Mod-things like Macerating, Compressing etc.) should show Aluminium-Dust to Aluminium-Ingot by smelting. If you now click on the Aluminium-Dust you should get the information about how to produce Aluminium-Dust. Normally macerating Ingots is the first information, but if you click on the arrows you should come to the point where you see the centrifuge-recipies, they are the ones with stuff in the middle and 4 arrows moving away to 4 outer slots. For Aluminium-Dust there should be not only arrows on top of the NEI-Window but also at the bottom, because Aluminium-Dust can be produced by several different recipies in the centrifuge (and there is just enough place for one recipe on a page).
