Get fuel out of an combustion engine

Hi everybody.

I've put to many fuel in a combustion engine and now I want to get it back out of it (and put in another engine or in a tank). Is this possible? If so, how can I do it?

Try the Forestry Pipette. I'm not sure if it works (and in which container you can put the content), but it is worth a try.

Have you tried using buckets?

Right click the internal tank GUI with a pipette.
(you'll need 1 per bucket of fuel left in your engine)

I think you'll find the FAQ thread kinda useful for this kind of stuff.

@MilConDoin and @Celestialphoenix have you even tried it? Pipettes don't work with combustion engines. However you can empty them using RP2 fluid pipes connected to the front of the engine (energy output). To pump water out use the back side.

This will work for sure only with combustion engines. And I was mistaken, it is not front of the engine, but an arbitrary top, bottom is for water, I just had my engine in a default position facing top. Also with magmatic engine you can extract lava from all sides except front.
