Game Crashes

ok so launcher loads fine. game loads fine. but as soon as i try to load a world it crashes and give me this error

Change the install path in the options tab to "C:\FTB\" without the quotes....

Launch and create a new world... When that works exit out of minecraft and the launcher
COPY your save folder from where it is now "on your desktop" into the new location.

so put FTB\ after C:\? if so why not just change it from the forlder to the desktop?

Because FTB & Java does not like to run from there all the time. Something to do with read/write permissions.
