Hey guys,

So I've had 2 fairly amusing incidents happen to me within the past week during my SMP FTB experience. I took pictures too, because they were (IMHO) too awesome to pass up.

#1: Chicken cooked himself - Had a recent outbreak of chickens in my base (damn you creeper...). Thought i cleaned it up, was happily working away at building something, i turn around and see this:

I swear, he must have cooked himself by hoping into the wrath fire furnace (the furnace used to make dark iron blocks)

#2: You don't fool me.... :p

That's my contribution :) I searched around, couldn't find a similar thread, so my question to you is: have you had any unique and/or funny experiences that are (preferably) not from Vanilla MC and not a bug?

P.S. I wonder how that would work for an auto-chicken farm and a hungry chest to pick up the loot....?

Better idea: Stick the chickens into an infernal furnace and then have that cook the chicken meat! It's better because it makes nuggets too.

It's harder then you'd think to do it right.
And as Morgs said, you'd want to use an infernal furnace...
You'd want the chickens to be spawned from eggs, a reserve batch of chickens laying eggs on a transposer as egg making backup supply, a killing frame with visor wearing iron golem on top of another transposer with a nearby brain in the jar. Otherwise swap the golem for a turtle with a startup script to attack the chickens. Sort the feathers one way and the chicken another. Spit the chickens into the furnace, cooked chicken goes into the hungry chest, a wooden gollem with the wooden chest as 'home' works as backup. Add in arcane bellows and you'll get a furnace that also coughs up nuggets for fast consumption as well as cooked chicken for slow consumption. If you do it right the brain in a jar is close enough to the front of the furnace that it will pick up the exp from cooking the chicken as well.
The easy way is just to smash eggs above the furnace and let live chickens fall in, giving only the cooked chicken.
But smashing eggs above the furnace would just give you little chicks which don't drop chickens or feathers.
