FTB Ultimate crash on login

hey guys. i hope im in the right spot.

i have already updated java to the best available, so i dont think thats the issue. it seems to be something related to IC2... i think i got the right logs here somewhere... or not... i have forge loader logs somewhere... i know i do... but i cant find the file. i'll have to post the file junk here.

is there anything i can do to fix this? i really wanna use the pack.

Okay, the first seems to be a RAM issue.

The second says it can't find IC2's GUIs for some reason. Try re-downloading the pack.

redownloaded the pack about 4 times. didnt do squat. thanks for trying tho.... i actually found the issue resolved on another forum somewhere.

in case anyone else finds this thread, :

go to : options>advanced options

theres something there for java perimeters on there... add this to the box next to it.

-XX: PermSize=128m (space added after colon so i dont get a emoticon)

worked like a charm for me

because of you I dident have to search hours for a fix...

Everything worked, but then I was seeing red crosses everywhere...and I couldent see more then a certain amount of chunks(a little less then normal view distance)
I turned the 128m to 256, and now everything is alright again

oh, ty for telling me, must have pressed the wrong button to activate it
so just ignore my post above, this solution works fine if you keep it on 128
